French and Swiss speed camera alerts

Is it possible to ensure that French and Swiss speed camera alerts are downloaded only to the SD card of a GARMIN nuvi using POI loader (so that it may be removed if stopped)?

Yes, just put your SD card in a card reader and plug it into the PC.
PoiLoader will find it and treat it as a Garmin device.

But when you switch your Garmin on it will then ask you if you want to make the new Extras data available if you remove the card. You MUST respond No or the Poi's will be copied to the Garmin!

.............. and you don't necessarily need a separate card reader if your computer recognizes the SD slot as a separate drive you can load directly to this by using the drop down menu in POI loader.
