How come?

I muck around with IGO skins a bit and I suspect that the reason is that there is a hell of a lot of work involved in changing resolution, Shocked and I suspect pretty much impossible to do unless you have a device with the new resolution to test your work on 'as you go' Rolling Eyes (especially if you have little personal interest in developing the new res) Sad

Hi linknet,
i think i found the last missing german translation.
Please add this to the german 'Dictionary.lang':
Quote:
Road name="Strassenname"

Regards and thanks again.
Thumbs Up

Hi naviman,

Even after the last change of the German spelling rules the correct spellling is still

"Straßenname"

I was thinking about this. Actually not every german speaking country uses
'ß'. Look at Switzerland. And i was concerned if every unit can show the 'ß'.
But after finding 147 'ß' in the dictionary, it should be 'Straßenname'.
Please linknet, change the line to:
Quote:
Road name="Straßenname"

Thanks!

Hello Linknet,
Excellent skin, only just started using Igo8 instead of Tomtom software and found your skin made it usable for me.
Just one thing, any chance of adding a seperate volume control for warning sounds, i.e. speeding or speed cameras?
I never use the voice guidance, which causes a problem when turning the voice volume to zero, i no longer get warning sounds either.
Just a thought.
Cheers.

Hello linknet,

is it possible to increase the size of the street name signs? They are very small on my VGA display.

Best regards

First thanks for the great skin, I use it for a long time now.

Will you add support for HTC HD2? (resolution 480 x 800)

Thanks

Hi Linknet,

I used your skin in my old device, but my new one has a resolution of 234*480 so i cannot use it. Is it possible to apply the color night filter to default skin? The screen I have does not have dimming operation.

Thanks

I'm running 8.3.2.73871

What ever happened to BTonOff.exe support?

Put the exe in the iGO dir on the SD Card as well as Program Files\iGO

I'm a old user of 8.0 with an older version on Ultra Skin, but now upgrading to 8.3.2.73871 with Ultra Skin 6.0.22, it does not work.

There is no icon in the quick launch.

Is this feature still a feature?

This isn't possible but a workaround is to use "silent voice". Search for it in the iGO forums and you should find a detailed method.

I think it might be possible but it would be a sys.txt entry and not something that can be altered from within a skin.

Yes, but you'd have to include the modification yourself.

Sorry, but not a feature any more, it was dropped for version 6.x.x.
