what you thing, why did I ask you?
|
Then it's the same answer:
You must be using the wrong data.zip for the version of iGO8 that you are using. With the correct data.zip you will not get that error.
Where did you purchase the iGO8 software ?

Linknet, Yours is the only skin that simply won't show up on my device. I have a VGA device. I have the right version you specify, vga=1, highres=1, with resolution directory of 320_240 all entered in their respective sections within the sys.txt. THere are no errors - it simply doesn't appear in the list of available skins. Are there any known entries in the SYS that might conflict with your skin? Thanks.... |

Not that I'm aware of, the only entry in the skin is:
supported_resolutions="240_320,320_240"
in the info.ini file.

OK, figured it out. I have a device whose resolution is 800x480. For whatever reason, your skin requires me to modify the screen_x and screen_y values to the values the skin would expect, i.e. 640x480 for VGA.
Thus far, I have been able to keep the values at 800 and 480, respectively, while simply modifying the resolution_dir=xxx_xxx to select the resolution the skin supports. That seemed to work for every other skin except yours.
Odd, eh? |
