There is a setting on the SP to change this. I can't remember exactly where but you will find a reference to it in the manual.
Press menu twice and take a look through the settings tabs. You probably have WGS84 selected at the moment. Depending on your firmware there may be a grid reference format and a map datum to select or it may set the grid when you change the datum.
Good luck! |

Hmm. It must be there somewhere.
On my GPS-V you press Menu twice then select Setup then go to the Location tab and set the Location Format to "British Grid" and Map Datum to "Ord Srvy GB". I used a friend's SPIII and it had a setting for OSGB, there may be a lot of tabs so you have to keep pressing the rocker pad to the right to get to the Location tab.
Try downloading the manual from http://www.garmin.com/ if you don't already have a copy of it. (Web site seems to be down at the moment though).
Good luck! |

Garmin's website is working again and I had a look through the SPIII manual but I can't see an option for setting the grid anywhere.
I am stumped. Anyone know? 8O |

Skippy, I'm not sure if OSGB is supported on the GPS V, but it is on the SP III.
Why do you want OSGB datum though ? WGS84 works the best, and switching to another datum in the UK will start sending you away from the roads as the MapSource is configured for WGS84. |
