PGPSW have changed the structure of the camera database for the i3, they have split out Gatsos and Mobiles into separate files for each speed with an associated icon showing the relevant speed.

Personally I think that is a retrograde step because I can't see the speed on the icon but I guess others will find it a benefit.

However - MaFt, can you remind me why it was that you re-named the camera files to zSpeed ... and is it something we should re-instate for the new files? (maybe it won't matter now Sad )

As far as I can remember it was just to put them to the bottom of the list, so when you're searching your custom points you don't get a load of cameras in the middle of your other POI's.

You an always replace the icons with the icons you like from another set. i.e. take the zSpeed Cam - UK.bmp and rename it to pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.bmp, pocketgps_uk_gatso_30.bmp, pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.bmp etc

that's correct.

also, i use the ones from the main download cos i don't like having individual files for each speed...

On the files there are none for the Truvelo? Are these actually in the Gatso files, but just named Gatso for the Garmin GPS's?

I think they must be

Can I suggest that the truvelo are kept seperate. These work by clocking you between the cameras, ideally need to know the distance between a pair and adjust the warning distance to suit. Does that make sense?

Truvelos do not measure an average speed. They are a camera that takes a photo of the front of the car as you cross strips laid in the road.

Specs are the cameras that measure the speed between 2 cameras.
