|
|
Right, now me Garmin GPS 111 is talking to my laptop which is loaded with AutoRoute and Memory-Map and I can see where I am when I get lost but I want to take this one step further.
Although I have not told my dear wife yet the idea is for her to have the laptop on her knees and naviagte for me becasue I have not yet seen a self contained GPS with a decent size screen. However, AutoRoute and Memory-Map are not proactive, unless that is, I have not understood them so where do I go from here?
Is there any software that I could load onto my laptop which I could use to plot a journey and which would direct me by voice through the microphone in the laptop? |

Also take a look at our CoPilot Laptop review

There are other cheaper packages like InfoMap Navigator, but the quality shows, and you will be blown away by CoPilot on the laptop compared to InfoMap Navigator. |

I should mention that the link I posted takes you to a software and hardware package. As you don't need the receiver, look here for a software only solution. _________________ Tim |
