How to connect Road Angel to PDA

If you're looking to connect your Road Angel then these are the connectors you want.



Road Angel to Palm or Pocket PC

Connecting to a Pocket PC you need something a little different. Instead you'll need the Serial Modem Cable, plus a cable for your style of Pocket PC. This will enable you to then use a standard barrel type car charger plug to power the Pocket PC, and also connect the Pocket PC to the Road Angel:-

• G9XPM - PcM PDA>Serial GPS Interface
• GXDAP - Combo XDA/T-Mobile Interface
• GQ38P - Combo Compaq Ipaq 3800 Interface
• GSN7P - Combo Sony Clie S and N series Interface
• GST6P - Combo Sony Clie T/NR/NX/SL/SJ series Interface
• GP50P - Combo Palm M500 series Interface

If you are finding that you don't need to power the PDA at all, then check this thread for more options available. The above options though are complete, so if you have one of the above PDA's, this is what we would recommend as it allows you to power the Road Angel with the supplied cable, but also to power the PDA too. You will need to accessory sockets in-car, so you may have to look at purchasing a 2 or 4-way splitter from a local car store like Halfords or Charlie Browns.
