POIs into POI not favourites ?

Trying the new facility with latest version of POI to download and convert POIs to D3 format, but they only install in favourites.

Is there any way to move them into POIs. In favs you have to scroll down the complete list to find somewhere near, try it with Macdonalds, its very long and doesn't seem to be in proper order !, if it were a POI it would presumably show only those within 50 miles or whatever you set.
aany ideas ?

I cant see where the POIs are in Destinator, only the BMP files appear for the categeries

It's annoying - especially as you cannot correct or add to the existing POIs. They seem completely under the control of D3.

Plus with favourites you can't navigate to the nearest ones, it seems so odd to have two formats for basically the same thing, surely they must be stored in the same format in terms of long/lat.
