Hi guys.
I am going to be purchasing a complete system in the next couple of weeks, but need some advice on what to get.
I am currently looking at the HP Ipaq 4150 as the PDA, but need more info on GPS receivers.
To start with, I am looking to go bluetooth. I have been advised that the NavMan 4410/4420 is a good one, but it comes with its own software (SmartST Pro).
So. The question is, do I go for that one? And if I do, then do I use the bundled software, or install the TomTom v3 that I already have ???
How good is the SmartST Pro ??? I have read a review comparing TT and SmartST, where both came out roughly equal.
Also, can you add POI's (ie speedcam's) to SmartST, or is that only in TomTom ???
Please help. The more I research, the more confused I become.
Thanks

I use SmartST over TT as I'm used to it, and with the extra functionality of V3, I really like it. The Navman BT unit performs well IMO, and it can be bought as a standalone, with no software, from some places. Have a search around; I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. _________________ Tim |

Thanks Tim.
I might just give it a go with the NavMan then, and try their software out.
A fellow biker as well ??? (Mine's a Deauville)
Thanks again for the guidance. |

Mine's a 'What you see in my picture'. A 2001 Triumph Sprint ST, soon to be replaced by a 2005 model.
Yes, you can add $afety cameras to Version 3 of SmartST PRO. _________________ Tim |
