Has anyone got one of these yet.

As I think the problem with most of the previous CF recievers where that the aerial was pointing into the car not the sky.

It looks like you can use it with a serial cable and connect it to other PDA/PC's that don't have a CF slot

I've just bought one of these.

I thought it would be handy when using my pocket loox gps when walking or using in the car as you can always ensure that the gps is pointed skyward.

From that point of view it is very good. However I'm having an awful time getting it to fix on. It takes an age every time - up to 15 mins. This is standing in the garden without any obstructions. When it does fix, if I walk into the house so that the signal is lost and walk out 5 mins later it again takes an age to get a fix. So far I am very disappointed with this device. I am hoping that the drivers with the TomTom Navigator 2 will resolve the problems. I'll let you know

I also have an EMTAC BTGPS and this works great. Locks on very quickly and picks up plenty of sats.

I had the same problem with my Haicom HI-203 but I found that it needed to be left on to charge the internal lithium battery. It now mentions this in the manual

"For faster warm start, please charge the inclusive Li-on battery inside the receiver by plug into your mobile device for more than 6 hours right after purchasing."
