Hi All,
After posting a few questions on this board I've finally bought Navigon 4 BT + TMC - and I'm impressed.
One thing I'm having I'm still a little unclear on is the TMC - I've set it to dynamic routing with notification for any rerouting.
I've set it for central Manchester then set off - even after it had downloaded all the incidents it did not try an reroute even though there was a traffic jam on my route - is there anything I'm missing here?
One website suggests I need to pay a further £50 to get it activated - do I need to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Chris |

Still having trouble here - Can anyone help?
It's just routed me onto a closed junction of the M62 (23) - It was in the TMC list as closed but it still told me to join there and there is another route you can take over to Denshaw.

Hi Chris
I'm fairly new to this as well but here goes...If you are getting traffic reports it sounds as if you have the system set up properly. The more usual problem which people have is not receiving the reports from Classic andf having to buy an aerial splitter to enable them to use the car aerial. In your case there is no need to "buy" anything else to get TMC to work.
Not sure why you were not diverted, it has happened to me once and I found out later that there was a report on the alternative route which had only cleared a short time before I would have had to reroute. Sorry I can't be of more help. |

Thanks for this Beep :D
Traffic is working now after a lot of patience!!!
Would be nice now if the GPS signal was stable (stationary in the back Garden) I'm sure I just need to get used to it.
