Hi all..Great Forum

I have also followed the advice given by fixer, and initially it looks like it works correctly.

But the problem appears to be that when you embark on a destination, voice guidance instructions are audible ONLY up until the first modified WAV warning. After that all voice instructions for the journey remaining are no longer audible. But further speed camera warnings are..

I guess this could be the soundfile = .wav setting in the .ini file confusing the device???

Does anyone else experience this problem?

Hi,

As mentioned before, i tried it, but then found i had exactly the same problem. The voice guidance stopped working after the first POI .wav warning.

Ive now reverted it back to how it was as the loss of sound was a pain in the backside.

Any solutions please advise.

All the best

Hi,

I have discovered that some sound files will not play and some will play and alert but then the voice commands for the routing stop. It seems to be down to the format of the sound file. Ones that work are in PCM format, 8 Bit, 1 Channel and 11KhZ frequency. Also found that if you modify a working WAV file to make it louder using the Windows Recorder application the same problem occurs. Good Luck.
