Well I finally decided to upgrade from my 60CSx which I've had since 2007 and is still going strong with Talky Toaster maps on.

I first went for a 64s which was in as new condition off eBay it was mint got it around a month ago, but I found it wasn't much more accurate than the 60CSx when under tree cover even with the extra Glonass receiver was abit disappointed with it especially as I'd always wanted the 65s and only went for the 64s as it came up at a great price I couldn't resist to try. Anyhow sold that last week and made 30 on what I paid and got the 65s and what a bit of kit! The accuracy does not leave 6 feet at all even under trees and bridges and it sticks to the path you're on, on basecamp so much better than the 64s and 60csx and it literally locks onto GPS, GALILEO and GLONASS as soon as you switch it on it is at 6 feet. Where as the 64 took around a minute to get a fix!

Would definitely recommend the GPSMAP 65s, I run both OS 1:25/1:50 and Talky Toaster maps.

I'm surprised you weren't happy with the 64. Many swear by it. I still have my trusty Etrex 20 and even it is very accurate.

I wouldn't say the 64 is worth the upgrade from the old 60CSx tbh.
