|
|
Hello All,
I wonder if a kind soul can help me?
I’ve always had a Pogo Drive standalone (road Angel) unit, but have since paid for the subscription here, but I’m not really getting on with the app.
I’m specifically looking for a separate standalone unit (like the road Angel) that will show and warn me of speed cameras, red light etc, but it MUST show my average speed between the gantries in SPECS zones, like my road Angel/ pogo device does (did!).
Does anything exist that can fulfil this?
Ideally a good size screen, maps not required really, but if the device is good then I’d consider all options. Ideally most recent model, but if something older works best then I’ll take that too.
Many thanks in advance of any help. |

Not standalone but Speedtrap Alert comes very close.
Not between gantries but between Specs cameras. _________________ DashCam:

That looks great. Thank you.
Do you recommended any hardware to run this? Is there a particular android / windows phone that is best suited to running it, that will have some mileage in its useful life? I’ll be buying specifically for this purpose alone so don’t need any fancy cameras/etc, but I also want to get accurate GPS lock and don’t want it to run laggy.

This works on all phones.
I can only comment on Android but Leo has recently updated it to work with Android 12 so bang up to date. _________________ DashCam:

Hello again.
Would the Samsung Galaxy M12 be suitable? or is there something else you think I should look at. Unfortunately i'm Apple so Android is all new to me. Screen brightness is my real concern and lagginess.
Many thanks again. |

I've only used it on my Samsung S10 so I don't know about other phones.
It works perfectly OK for me, certainly no lag. _________________ DashCam:
