Is there a way to import enmasse all my POIs into Earth or maps, so I can more easily see how they relate to eachother?

I could do them one at a time but I have hundreds.

Kev.

CSV's just copy and paste each one into a master file and import the one file... Depends how many you have.

I have about 250 MaFt, I don't understand what you mean though.

When looking at them in POIEdit I can only select the POI name not the co-ords, I can select whatever I need in Excel though, but after that I'm stuck.

What do you mean by a master file, I have them all in one OV2 file and I have a CSV file already.

It's a shame POIEdit is no longer supported properly with Google.

Ah, a light at the end of the tunnel, KML is a doddle if I did it right.

For those who know even less than me.

1, Open POIEdit
2, Tools tab
3, Batch convert
4, Click on the little folder in the left pane, and browse to you POI files, it'll open the source folder in the left pane, so pick a OV2 file
5, click, the folder in the right pane to set destination of converted file.
6, select the from to formats at the bottom of each pane.
7, Click convert
8, Voila, double click converted file in destination folder, and there are your POIs as yellow push pins in Google Earth.

I would still like to be able to do it in Google Maps though as I can then use it on my phone I think, where as it just doesn't like earth.

Huge THANK YOU to Bmuskett for being the stout and honourable fellow he obviously is, cheer mate, I owe you one

You're welcome. Can't help you with the Google Maps on phone though, I'm afraid.

Edit - But this blog, option 3, suggests it might be possible.

Hi, thank you, the post was 7 years ago, and I already had exactly the same answer.
