Have recently downloaded STA and working perfectly on my HTC and very easy to download and point to the databses. However I just acquired the above PND (although it's more like a tablet with browser and download folder) which is an android system. The question therefore is whether it is possible to download the STA app to the new TT and then download the databases to it and if it will work. If so it would be just like having an old style pre-moneygrabbing TT. Anyone done this, as I just didn't want to screw up the new arrival before it even gets on the road?
TIA

I wouldn't have thought so as STA is Android only.

Oh right, so you don't think the Android side of my TT will recognise the app and run it alongside?
It's not the end of the world as, unlike Waze, the STA audio is much louder and the alerts seem to be muchmore noticeable.

Just rethinking this and I don;t think it will work as you say, but because the GPS is not easy to share between devices at the same time. I remember trying to run a PDA with Memory Map and TT at the same time and was told it needed a 'bridge' but they weren't a ideal solution anyway.
