No, it does only affect cameras on the same gantry spanning both carriageways. _________________ Satnav:

Kremmen's 'adjacent' feature is to stop a double alert from 'co-located' cameras (typically gantries), not to eliminate alerts from cameras on the other 'track' or pointing in the 'other' direction (unless they are co-located).
Only a directional implementation of the database alert system will do that (CA, STA, iGO, Cyclops etc.) The PGPSW database contains directional data that can be used by a suitable system. |

Hi, I mean when I'm cruising on the motorway when there is an HADECS camera on the other side of the carriageway gantry (not one on my side) it still alerts me it's there even though it's not for/on my side of the road. |

Afraid that's normal ... as posted you need something that only gives directional alerts, like CA _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Hi, what's CA? Sorry I'm pretty new to all this so not up on the acronyms of it all yet.
Ahh I can live with it tbf it doesn't really bother me, I just wondered if there was something I could adjust or wasn't doing properly when downloading and putting them on my Nav. |

CamerAlert. The PGPSW rendering of a speed cam alert program, which used to be just fine and dandy, but has suffered from lack of development/updating so that it works on the latest platforms for some time now.
Despite lots of comments about it not working on this or that phone/android/iOs upgrade, the developers do not seem interested any more as they don't even bother tell us that.
Use of the CA initialism is sort of similar to the use of the tbf initialism. |

Ahh CameraAlert, been using that for years until it stopped working on my device, very good app I only used to use the free version so had the annoying "please update" everytime I used it, but it was brilliant until it stopped working on Android 10 devices which like you say has been a long while now. |

There was no 'paid' version, and the warning was just that; a warning telling you the database was out of date. Unfortunately there was no way of turning the annoying warning off. |

Just update it, not difficult
Running an out of date database caused quite a few false support posts _________________ Satnav:

Be great if they could get it working again for Android 10 devices. |

Unlikely, but I see Android 11 is to be released to Pixel devices shortly. _________________ Satnav:

Presumably, you mean for certain devices on which it doesn't work as my Pocophone is Android 10 and runs CA? |
