Very likely I would have thought as throwing the same alert request at the Garmin at 15 secs may well cause a back to back situation and in that 15 secs the second one is active right at the camera location.

Likely. Garmin can only give one alert at a time, so one would be given then the other.

The OP needs to understand the difference between Approach and Overspeed and adjust the timings accordingly.

Perhaps it could be a little clearer in the help file K?
If you know the difference, then setting it is simples, but if you don't know the difference.......

Try this
Overspeed Warn
The Overspeed warning type can be selected.
The Garmin can give two warnings for a camera. The first being set by the ‘Approach’ column, and a second warning given, closer to the camera, if you are still in excess of the camera’s ‘trap speed’. The number of seconds before the camera for the second warning is set in the ‘OverSpeed’ Column. Values that I have found useful are 14 seconds for the initial 'Approach' warning and 6 seconds for the second 'OverSpeed' warning.
This setting is really only useful for 'Fixed' and 'RedSpeed' cameras.

I'll have a look tomorrow.

I'll see what the manual says, and, I'll have a look at the program to ensure that the overspeed setting is at least ~5 seconds less than the approach warning. That will allow the approach warning to finish, or almost finish before any overspeed is issued.

Cheers for the info! I've adjusted and will see what they're like on my next journey.
Cheers.

I have probably mentioned this before, but you do realise that the Garmin has a GPS simulator, so that you can 'drive' a route whilst still on your sofa, don't you?

Looking for some advice on how to stop my sat nav/PGPSW world giving me alerts to motorway gantry cameras that are on the other side of the carriageway despite having turned the "adjacent" cameras off to removed on the CSV to GPX converter?

The Converter should be removing any motorway gantry cameras that are within 60 yards of the adjacent camera on the opposite gantry providing it's the same speed.

If it's just the odd one then increase the 60 yards to 70 or 80 yards in the settings.

Thanks, I'll set it to 80 and see how it goes.

But if the gantries are 200 yards down the road, that won't work will it K?
