POI Loader on Mac DOES import the voices - sox.exe is not needed on the Mac version. However, it won't send the POIs via WiFi - it needs to be connected via USB as far as I can recall.

I didn't know that.

I've seen quite a few posts over the years with Macs and voice alert problems.

Sorry, youíre right I should have said POI loader not Garmin Express.

I have loaded speed cams, POIís and voices onto my 3598 from my MacBook on several occasions, voices never sound off, the best I can get is a chime with one set, mp3 or wav I canít remember which.

I also got to wondering how or why the voice / IOS compatibility issue had never been addressed.

It is still stupidly early but I run things that don't auto change on GMT all year.
