Surely it has to be a local transmitter issue then being as it's not nationwide.
Master reset ?
I'll check mine again later......
........ AOK, switched from searching, to traffic, in about 3 seconds and TPEG is green.
Have you tried other units from your drawer full ?
Also, Meridian now/shortly under maintenance (Hastings Old Town your nearest ?):

Only have the one Garmin K. DAB radio is OK here though.
Just thought, my mate has a DS 61, I'll get him to pop around with it and check that out. |

I thought I had good traffic last week but what it 'was' doing was only getting a 'fix' every 5 to 10 minutes.
It was changing, but not that often, but when driving you may not notice the extended periods.
When I got it hooked up indoors (TA cable test rig) I went into Developer Diagnostic, Traffic Dashboard, and the truth came out.
It was logging on and collecting data when first fired up. Then after collection it disconnected and took 5 to 10 minutes to connect again. Same thing, collected data then logged off.
During the 5 to 10 minutes all it was doing was rolling round the DAB and FM frequencies trying to get a lock, and failing.
When it got a lock 'Run' and 'DAB' went green, but not TPEG.
It was only when it started working properly that I realised the secret to good and bad is the TPEG box, in the Dashboard, that was constant red when broken and green when it got a proper lock.
So, in Worthing, is TPEG red or green ?
Seems that in Bexhill there is now no connection at all. _________________ Satnav:

I guess you're on that then .
Strange you're still having issues unless it's your local transmitter? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I ran the 'Test DAB' utility when mine was not locking. I didn't terminate the test properly and the next day it was stuck/displaying 'freq 0.00' and going nowhere. It was only when I pressed 'Norm' in the test screen that it sprung into life, and not failed since.
Maybe a master reset. _________________ Satnav:

I did almost 600 miles over the weekend (M56/M6/M40/M25 - South London - M25/M1 - Sheffield - M60 - Manchester - M56) and the Inrix traffic alerts were fine. |
