Plugged in my DriveLuxe 51 this morning and was offered an update to the above for the first time on GE (2.52 MB). I've not subscribed to the service as I update from here every week.
Checking the POI folder there is a set of new camera POIs (plus an unlock (UNL) code.
Has anyone else been offered an update? Just wondering if this is something Garmin are now offering FOC. There was no warning or no mention of it being anything other than a normal update via GE or could it be a glitch in their own systems? _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

Funny you mention that.
Over on my Honda Civic forum one guy has posted, ages ago, a link to what seems to be permanently updated, and free, or dodgy, Cyclops files for quite a few countries.
My gut feeling is pirated so I didn't repost anywhere else. _________________ Satnav:

Interesting - this is definitely GE advising me that a Garmin Lifetime Cyclops - Europe update is available.
Can only think Garmin has either decided to make it available as it makes little or no money, or it is a glitch with GE - with Garmin anything could be possible! _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

It's a while since I had a new device but I think it comes with a limited time free update, and Express is now the method used by Garmin to deliver their speed camera files. How old is your device?
This particular model is about 3 months old. It's connected regularly but the reason for flagging is that the Lifetime Cyclops - Europe suddenly appeared. I've not subscribed (nor intend to) to the service so there was no reason to be offered it unless Garmin has made it available to everyone or its a glitch _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

I think if Garmin were making it available to everyone we'd know more about it. More likely an error somewhere _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way.
What I'd have thought too, hence wondering if any other regular ops. had come across the same upgrade when connecting to GE.
Notification of free upgrade / subscription to Lifetime Cyclops for Europe came out of the blue. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

Wonder if it was a glitch as the option to update speed camera files (was offered daily) has suddenly disappeared as suddenly as it appeared - no warning.at all. I'll give Garmin a ring to see what is going on. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

Why bother. I seem to have recently 'acquired' a Cyclops lifetime 'out of the blue', but don't give a fig whether I have it or not.
Just rather they improved their routeing and/or allow the user to enter road speeds to possibly improve journey time prediction.
It moved with the latest release of GE to the tools menu and purchased option. According to Garmin the Drive 51/61 range all now come with Lifetime cameras as standard. I can confirm the DruveLuxe 51 does but would be interested in the DriveSmart or Drive range does. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

Does that explain why my old DriveSmart suddenly said I could have a whole of Europe map update? I didn't object and let it load. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D

My DriveSmart 61 was upgraded to lifetime Cyclops cameras fairly recently without me noticing exactly when.

Is Cyclops still just a 'bong' (and a tiny blue dot) when you approach a camera ?
With the number of bongs in modern cars this is just another one that will be easily missed. _________________ Satnav:
