I've been here with other software including Garmin Express!
Right click on the installer, go down to properties - click on that.
Click on the Compatibility tab.
Tick the box and choose your version from the drop down list.
Apply,
OK
and you should be. |

I haven't made any changes since 2013 because it works.
I do have a couple of small tweaks I want to make but that's a job for winter. I need to rebuild a spare PC because I need to test the Visual Studio installer on a clean PC as I've lost InstallShield now.
I'm looking at saving the last camera count to show the increase/decrease, just for info. That will only be of use if you process the same camera types.
Also trying to determine whether sox.exe is loaded correctly and display it in the bottom bar.
Look at the popup explanations when you hover over a dialogue field. _________________ DashCam:

One tiny snag.
Now that I have no access to the full Visual Studio and InstallShield I can only create ClickOnce applications.
No big deal really as it works, just slightly differently.
It installs to the users data area and places a shortcut on the desktop. Basically nothing to do with Windows installer.
I have a test PC that I will be installing it on because I want to make sure it checks and downloads dot net 4 if not found and how much of the work folder needs to be included in the install package. I doubt if the setup.exe is enough on its own. _________________ DashCam:

Hi Kremmen,
Have been using your convertor, and I am trying to set it so I only get 1 warning for each camera, without subsequent ones if I am overspeeding. I have the settings as per the screenshot below, however if I go past a camera position too fast I am still getting a second and sometimes a third warning - it drove my wife mad going up the M6!!
Can you let me know if I have got the settings wrong in your programme, or is there a setting on the Garmin I need to change?
Unit is a Nuvi 2569 LMT-D.
Many thanks |

Morning
Your setup looks correct for what you want and should just provide one single approach warning.
2 things to check:
1) Have you just got a single .gpi in the devices poi folder?
2) Can you check any of the gpx files and make sure there is only a single entry for each camera and the marker is a #. In plain English something like 'Gatso1234#70'.
Like this example:
If you opt for an overspeed warning then there will be 2 lines for eac h camera, one with a #(Approach) and one with a @(Garmin keeps checking your speed):

Thanks, I'll check this evening, although what software can I use to open and view the gpx files in?
Definitely something odd going on, as last night I set approach to 0 and overspeed to 17. Went past two 30mph cameras at 25/26mph and I got 2 warnings for the first, and 1 warning for the second. |

Gpx will open in Notepad OK.
If you just run the overspeed setting then you are in the hands of the Garmin AI which may or may not produce a warning, multiple warnings or no warning depending on your speed, acceleration deceleration.
The # should just produce a single warning at the proximity set. The @ is Garmins AI trigger.
My first thought, based on your displayed setting is more than one camera file in the poi folder. _________________ DashCam:
