Looking at the Map software on the SD card that has come with my Fiesta ST, it has a Bosch part number but is described as Sony Navigation by Ford. There is a POI folder with .CTA files for each country on the map. I can't see any other options.
Does anyone know if we can add the PocketGPSWorld camera database to this software?

Have you had a look at the Sony installation stuff in our compatibility list here?

Sorry for delay in responding - yes I had, and ran through it again, but can't see it applies, since data appears to relate only to standalone Sony systems. Even if the Ford (2014) Fiesta Navigation system is WinCE based I would be concerned to risk messing up the rest of the car info system/CANBUS etc by trying the other approach listed, so I guess I'll have to stick with what it provides unless anyone has less radical solution.
Many thanks anyway.

Hi I have just been asking the same question elsewhere on this forum. I too have just got a new ford fiesta with built in Sony Sat Nav. I would also like to be able to add POI and Camera Alert. The SD card is a Bosch Part no 7612105850. If it is of any help "myPOIWarnings" are CTA files. The map is Western Europe SD Sat Nav (v3). At the moment I am still using my portable TomTom 1005 but it would be nice to use the built in Sat Nav. I ran both systems comming back from Norfolk yesterday with the Sony on mute. Both systems gave my arrival time as 16.30 but the Sony route was nearly 50 miles shorter. Both systems were set to "fastest route".

Sorry to say that I haven't found or heard of a solution yet. By coincidence my Ford's GPS module has failed (gives screen message: "no GPS" so it's off to the Dealer shortly under warranty. Crying or Very sad

After having my Fiesta for the best part of a year I can now say I am not impressed with the Sony Sat Nav. There have been a number of times it has told me to turn down roads that no more than footpaths and in many cases it chooses the most complicated of routes. Thank goodness I have my TomTom Go Live 1005. It has never let me down....yet
