Any Discount Code for Live Services Renewal?

I just rang TomTom up and asked about prices for renewal. I laughed when they gave their price and told them at the price I may as well swap brands and that I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years.

I got my subscription for £39 for 18 months rather than the normal 12.

The 18 months for the price of 12 which should have expired on 30 Sept is still working. Just renewed for £39.50 by using the WelcomeTT14_uk code.

Clicked through an email I received in mid September to get the offer as the website is only showing 12 months for £47.50.

My Live services expired yesterday for my Tomtom 1005 Euope and I have just renewed using the email link above giving 18 months for price of 12. I also used the WelcomeTT14_uk code for £8 off.

All has worked fine so I got 18 months for £39.50! Many thanks to you all. Very Happy

Renewed mine today using the link provided in an earlier post.

Subscription extended by 18months (from existing expiry date) and the £8 discount code worked too.

Quite.

Even though GPS quickfix is part of the subscription it can often take a few mins to get the correct position - sometimes the traffic come online before it knows where I am. If I run an update via TT home the position gets updated very quickly for the next few days.

I assume the problem is the length of time it is taking to connect to the TT services - if it needs this to download the GPS quickfix then it explains why it is taking so long to get a fix.
