|
|
The annual subscription for map updates for my 750 is due in 10 days time. About 3 months ago the price was discounted from £74.95 to £37.48 but when I was updating the 750 yesterday the price had jumped to £59.95.
Has anyone any experience relating to this as I don't remember this happening previously. Should I accept the new price because it will jump up to £74.95 once I let the subscription lapse?
Cheers, jack. |

Just checked my UK map and they want £39.95 for the 1 year update discounted from £44.95. In April I paid £22.48 for 18 months subscription. Obviously giving away so many free lifetime maps they are screwing the money out of those that have to pay. _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

Glad I got free lifetime maps with my latest TomTom.
I'd wait for the discount to come around again if I was you. |

Thank you to all those of you who have replied. I received an email a few days ago from Tom Tom which has now offered a half price subscription which is thus £37.48 for my Europe maps.
Can I ask bkilham what discount does his £19.98 represent?
I'm not in any great hurry to renew just now as I have ruptured my Achilles tendon and cannot drive the nice new car I have just bought!
Cheers jack. |

Interesting that they are giving 50% off £39.95 when Home is listing £44.95 discounted to £39.95 for UK and I paid £22.48 with 50% off in April _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

Just renewed my maps for another year after receiving the 50% off email. So, I have paid £29.98 for my 750 GO this being half of the £59.95 that I reported at the beginning of this thread. It seems that it pays to let your subscription run out and wait for the email offer!

Are similar discounts ever applied to Live Services? If so, I might just wait before renewing next month. |
