Prime suspect would be the usb connection I guess... can you confirm that the battery indicator at top right of screen changes to the charging symbol when you plug the unit in to either your computer or else the wall unit?
The battery symbol is teeny weeny - you'll have to look hard to spot the lightening flash that confirms it's charging...
Also note that you have to disconnect the charged unit to refresh the view of the battery symbol - it may not show as charged until you disconnect it from whatever source of power you are using to charge it. see p 10 in the full guide.

Hi Brisca,
I just checked with our Tech Support team, and the following is their advice (you can email them on techsupport@satmap.com if you have any issues):
Firstly can you try plugging your Active 10 into both the USB port of your computer and the wall charger and see if either can get the device to turn on? If the Active 10 only works with one of the two power sources let us know, but in the meantime following the instructions on this page (from "To default the setting please..." onwards) should fix your issue. https://satmap.com/knowledge/Active_12/Battery_Issues.html

Let us know if you need any further help or if that doesn't resolve it, thanks!
