|
|
Hi all
Need advice on replacement for a 730 for daughter (dropped 730 and met its maker in many parts)
Most important is support for 3rd party POI's (for her job), 2nd is HD traffic preferred
What options are there in current range (either I am reading data sheets wrong as do not seem any - which seems to be case when I read the forums)
What other devices apart from 1005, that I may get my hands on would offer these desirable requirements.
Travel is only in UK
Thanks in advance for help/advice. _________________ Mick

I would look at buying something like a 820/825 live , argos was knocking them out a couple of weeks ago for £100 |

1005 is very good.
1000 same but smaller and NO SD card slot
820/825 - Good lower spec
GO950 - If you can find one, second hand or refurb.
XL LIVE IQ Routes Edition - Ditto (not such a good mount) _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Just to say my 1005 does not have an SD card slot. |

TomTom says that GO 1005 and GO LIVE 1005 with serial numbers starting ST have 8GB internal storage plus microSDHC support, those in the SE, SF and SJ series have 2GB or 4GB internal storage with no microSDHC support. |
