915 Europe downloaded in about five minutes this morning on VM 60MB:-) Suspect it may take longer once word gets out and the servers clog up... _________________ GO 750 Live HD Traffic, Map Europe 930, Navcore 9.510 |

UK & ROI v915.5074 - downloaded and installed in less than 5 minutes. I wish I knew how long my map update subscription is good for - I would have sworn the last map (v910) was the end, but apparently not. Means my GO550 Live cannot be retired yet as the Live services run until August 2014.
I didn't get a new zip file (postcodes). _________________ Dennis

For me, carrying out a second update offered the postcodes! _________________ Garmin Drivesmart 50 LMT-D App 5.90

Ergo it now sees you have the 915 map which is why it NOW offers these |

Which appears not to have been DennisN's experience. _________________ Garmin Drivesmart 50 LMT-D App 5.90

You'll get an offer for a new subscription when you've had your last map from the current subscription. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

I was offered the new "navigate to postcode" 915 yesterday with the old 910 map and the 915 postcodes already installed from the link in the other post _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

Just to update you...
I did as Richard suggested and found I did the map update service in February (I had been trying looking at my emails, but so many I couldn't sort the chaff from the wheat, plus, I bought a new "Refurb" one since then and used the same email registration so the map and Live got transferred).
Then I downloaded postcodes from that link and learned a new skill - what to do with a .CAB file!
Ho hum. Now off to Renault to see what's to be done with their satnav in my brand new van - not supported by TT, only Renault. I have already been waiting three weeks (tomorrow) for Renault support, so I forsee many naughty words. Map is v905, van is 1st August 2013, SD card is 4GB of proprietary format stuff which I can't even copy, never mind read! _________________ Dennis

Dennis, I'd be interested to know at what time you did the dowload. I did mine yesterday at about 9:45am. I have a fast Pc and a 40mb isp supply. It took me 10 minutes to download the 3Gb European map file and a further 40 minutes to install it onto my 1005 Live.
I don't know how big the Uk and ROI maps are but 5 minutes is quicker than I can achieve for a MapShare downlod and install.
Many Thanks
Alan |

The OP posted at 8:11am on Tuesday, I didn't see the post immediately and I had finished my download soon enough to post by 8:49am. _________________ Dennis
