New Maps Available v910 - 15 May 2013

@rfp2001... Did this update involve a name change of the map? (possibly from "Western Europe" to "Europe").
In the past, I've found that has been enough to make Home lose all the personal info. Evil or Very Mad

No, Andy. Change from "Western Europe" to "Europe" happened for me at the last new map in March (when all transferred OK!).

My W&CE map changed to Europe at the last update too.
Latest Europe’ v910.4892 downloaded last night

I realise the name changed to Europe on the previous version (v905).... but I was wondering if the OP might might not have done every single map update.
Lots of people only update every third or forth quarter.

I've not had a problem updating a map before, but at the point this latest one is being installed to the internal memory, it says it gets interrupted because it can't delete 'G:\Europe\cline.dat', with G being my 940.

Any ideas please?

Edit: Sorry, contrary to what my signature said at the time of my original post I am running App 9.510

Can you delete it manually? (It's one of the main files of the old map)

Hi Andy, I kept repeatedly deleting the file and reinstalling the map but it failed each time as the file was somehow being reinstated!

I rebooted the 940 and all went well.

Simple error but it confused the hell out of me, thanks for your help.

You have just missed the 6 months extra and HUKD is not listing any codes so looks like nothing about at the moment.

I see the main road between Stamford and Market Deeping is STILL showing as the A16, when it should be the A1175.

Forgot how many times I've told TomTom this..... Smile
