|
|
The clocks went back last night and as well as all having an extra hour's sleep/rest you also need to adjust your Timezone in the forum profile.
We are now at Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). So for our UK readers you need to change the timezone setting in your profile to GMT to ensure your posts and those of others display the correct time.
The setting can be found in your profile accessed from the link at the top of the forums above:
In your profile, scroll towards the bottom where you will find the the preferences section and change the Timezone from GMT +1 to GMT. If you are not in the UK then you should ensure you are using the correct time offset (+ or -) as necessary.
Unfortunately this has to done manually by every user when the clocks change but it is a simple process. When we return to BST next year the process should be reversed.

Got a bit confused by the OP reference to being on GMT, until I saw its date. This was a reminder to put our clocks back last autumn, not forward as we have just done. Just to be sure in the UK we are now back to GMT+1 not GMT.
But thanks for the reminder anyway! _________________ Peter

Haven't checked the forum for a few days but it explains why people were writing several hours in the future - for some reason my Timezone was set to GMT+10.
Have now set it to GMT and times are looking much better! |

This time change business now seems totally daft. I support a permanent DST. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

When the Scots get independence we'll be able to have a permanent BST. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
