Mobile camera tick and cross, can it be disabled?

I've looked at both IOS and Android manuals and can find no mention of this feature let alone what it's for and how to disable it.

The manuals are being totally re-written at the moment but a billion other things are fighting for attention too...

Anyway, the tick and cross are for you to say whether the mobile site is currently active or not. The tick is, essentially, a quick and easy 'seen again'.

Turn off "allow transmission" under manage cameras menu. Also stops the ping for mobile cameras

Obviously it stops your ability to report as you go, but switching it back on does then appear to send the data, so if you spot a camera mark it and then when stopped turn on allow transmission to submit.

Just wish Apple would stop messing the guys around and let them update the app. It's just so typical of their arrogant attitude, I've used their product professionally for years and they've never ceased to amaze me with their blind stupidity.
