My Tom Tom always offers me "Map Share community map update", but it never succeeds in uploading it to my 1005. Is there something wrong with my device or is Map Share not working on 1005s yet?
Thanks |

I had a similar problem and found that if I did a IE "Page Refresh" (with SatNav still connected) it told me that the 1005 was up to date.
I have to say that I DO NOT like "My TomTom", lets have TT Home for the 1005 and other newer models please. |

Mine sounds slightly different - it offers me the update and looks like it's installing, then it just keeps offering it. The size of the file to be updated is slowly getting bigger - it's up to 2.9MB now! |

Sorry cannot help anymore except to say have you tried a different web browser like Google Chrome. |

Nothing to do with web browser, as it's home that keeps offering the same updates, and fails to recognise you have already downloaded updates.
Most people probably use Chrome anyway. I do and it makes no difference! _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Just had a look around the Tom Tom support site and it looks like it's a known issue. |
