All sounds very good to me - can't wait! :D
So, Mike, are you going to give us any clues as to what we will have to do to win the Co Pilot bundles, or is that a surprise that will await us when we get there?
Regards,
Bo Peep. _________________ TomTom 730

The pre-registration will be part of it. Only people who have pre-registered and are there on the day will be eligible.
We are doing this to ensure that whoever gets the goodies is a genuine reader of PocketGPSWorld.com, and not someone who has walked in off the street.
More details will follow, watch this space _________________ Mike Barrett |

We're receiving mail okay Alex, try dropping me a mail at the usual address and let me know if it bounces, it may be an ISP problem at your ISP. Received a number of registrations tonight. |

Memory-Map have donated a copy of the Memory-Map OS Landranger Central England software to the PocketGPSWorld.com Pub Meet.
To qualify for the draw you need to be pre-registered for the event and als be there on the day. We are doing this to ensure that these items are being distributed to the PocketGPSWorld readers rather than someone who has just walked in off the street.
If you have not registered yet, please send an email to pubmeet@pocketgpsworld.com. We will acknowledge your registration. If you have not received an acknowledgement within 48 hours please email webmaster@pocketgpsworld.com or post into this thread. _________________ Mike Barrett |

I am having trouble getting my TT GPS (wired) and car kit to work. Is this the sort of event where I might be able to find someone (organiser, or other) with similar hardware to swap (temporarily) to aid my troubleshooting? When I asked TT, they helpfully said it was probably my cradle, and I am in the process of rejecting that, however they also said it might be the GPS, and I worry that I will get a new cradle and things still wont work. Being able to confirm the health of some bits/ correct installation of s/w would be so useful.
When is the latest I could register to attend? (you never know - the cradle might arrive and fix all - and I wouldn't want to register and not attend, nor take a 2 hr drive each way for nothing!)
Of course, I could just turn up anyway, and be shown all the better systems I should have bought! |
