I can't see the speed camera icons or hear warnings

Hi I have Nissan Connect System. Can anybody help me, Why can't I see the speed camera icons or hear warnings sometime and when i do hear sometime its not loud enough. Its just a 'beep'.?

I believe that's how Nissan designed the system to work on the Connect system. Looking at other threads it appears the beep is the only sound you have.

As to why you don't get icons or alerts sometimes perhaps those cameras are not in the database! Can you give examples?

Sadly the Nissan Connect system is quite basic in it's handling of 3rd party Points Of Interest. All PGPSW can do is provide the data to work with the system Nissan provides.

Hi OK thanks for that. As for Speed camera Icon sorry i meant to say they not there at all. I dont see nothing at all in gps where the camera's are located.?

Have you checked the database on the Submission Page here to make sure they are in the database?

Are you sure the database has loaded? Looking at the Nissan Connect instructions here are you seeing the screens shown?

Nissan Connect does not display any icons, all you get is a screen width banner with the warning text contained within.

That's a Nissan limitation.

Just to confirm Darren...

I won't see any poi's on my connect system but I will receive a warning within my desired poi warning range?
