I am not sure how the data base is supposed to look on the 3790 screen.
I assume that the bottom right had corner with the speed limit and speed of the car are side by side is the cyclops stuff.
Am I right in thinking that the black or red rectangles which appear offset right just above the centre line is pocket data base info?
It does'nt bing away like the old street pilot but just occasionally when a rectangle appears. Is this right too?

The speed alert is a function of the Garmin and not Cyclops are our database.
Our database will appear as a black square with the speed camera logo inside it.
Garmin will only flash an alert if you are over the limit for a camera as you approach. Have you disabled Cyclops data? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren,
Thanks for your helpful response.
No I have'nt disabled cyclops. I have found the speed indicator useful.
Is it best to disable it?

I would have thought that the Cyclops cameras and the speed limit might be controlled by different settings? _________________ David

The speed indicator is nothing to do with Cyclops, that is a feature of the Garmin device and will work regardless of whether you have Cyclops installed/activated or not.
I'd disable the Cyclops data to avoid confusion. _________________ Darren Griffin |
