|
|
Hi,
I'm currently running CamerAlert v 1.0.0.333 on an HTC Desire and am unable to install v 1.0.2.352. Despite several attempts over several days, the installation fails, telling me that "The package was not correctly signed".
Also HUD mode seems to have disappeared since the Beta and there appears to be no night-time colour option. Have these features been restored in the new version?
FWIW I'm running Android 2.2, build 2.33.161.2 kernel 2.6.32.15g2633d94.
Thanks,
Roy |

Hi Roy,
You'll get a better answer in a minute.
If you have the beta version installed, you have to delete it before installing the final version. I think that's right.
Google maps doesn't have night colours, I think this has been covered in other threads, so it is not an option.
I think that HUD is a problem as well, or is being looked at, as this has been covered in other threads as well.
Hope this helps a bit.
Cheers, bob _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

And if you had searched, you'd have found this question answered already.
We explicitly told Beta testers that you would need to uninstall the Beta app first _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sorry, I searched for "Signed" and did not get a hit. I wanted to float the question before our proxy locked me out, so I did not try a variety of search terms.
I'll read the topic now, but in case it doesn't address my next concern:
Having paid for the app, will uninstalling the current version "forget" that I've paid for it?
Thx. |

No
Once paid for, it is always available in the Market, you can uninstall and re-install the paid for apps without fear. _________________ Darren Griffin |
