|
|
Hello all,
I have searched for an answer but unable to find my specific query - I am trying to install the POI's (not camera's, no problem there) to my HTC Desire with Copilot 8.
I am downloading the CSV variant.
I am not certain in which folder to place them - could anyone please oblige?
Many thanks

Hi, and welcome.
The process for the POIs will be the same as for the Camera Files, but without setting up the warnings.
See Here for the instructions. _________________ Richard

Many thanks indeed Richard, appreciate it.
I followed the instructions and pasted the csv and bmp files to EU/UK/save, started Copilot and I get the prompt "new poi set found" "accommodation_pgpsw" and the keyboard underneath as if it is waiting for me to input something.
If I back out, it prompts me with the next poi set, then again until I reach the last. It appears not to actually integrate the poi's. I wonder if I am actually placing these files in the right place.
Thanks again,
Best wishes

Unfortunately, as I don't have/know CoPilot 8, it will need someone who has 'hands on' knowledge to be able to take you further with this. _________________ Richard

No problem Richard, thanks for your efforts! I'll hang around in case anyone else has had success. |

CoPilot has a long standing bug where it fails to load POIs if more than one set if attempted at a time. So when I wanted to load the PGPSW speed camera data, I would have to do it one camera type at a time. |

Thanks Baggie, that's the way I have done it too and it does seem to work. Laborious but at least it's working. Thanks again! |
