Hi
Does anyone know of any software that I can run on PPC that can convert from OSGB to Lat Long and/or Lat Long to OSGB. It doesn't have to link to GPSr just be able to convert the datums.
I use Navio software for my hiking and like it very much but it doesnt support OSGB
I did have a piece of software the did OSGB to Lat/Long for my palm but cant find anything similar for PPC anybody got any ideas.

Try my OS Grid Converter program (PocketPC 2003 executable below). It's not completely finished and there's nothing fancy about it but I think it'll do what you need. Works perfectly for me..

(No installer yet, just copy the exe to your PDA manually and run it!)
I'm planning on improvements so watch this forum for updates.

Hi
Sounds like just what I was looking for unfortunately I can't get it to run.
I've copied it over to "My Device/windows/start menu/programs" but when I try to run it I get an error screen telling me
"Cannot find 'OSGridConv' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and all the requird libraries are available"
Have you got it in a different directory?
I'm trying to run it on my HP iPAQ 2210 PPC2003
Any thoughts
Thanks

I downloaded your converter and it works fine for me I hope you don’t mind, Conclusion nothing fancy but does exactly what it says on the tin.
Keep up the good work. |
