Hi,
Apologies if this has been asked before, but I had a problem last night when updating my One, IQ Routes Edition (Europe).
It was actually last used a couple of days earlier in Portugal, and had not been turned on again since arriving back in the UK.
Anyway, I connected it to my PC last night, having previously updated TomTome Home to 2.7 something or other! It then advised me that there was a system (not map!) update available, which I started to download.
However at about 80% of the way through it failed when trying to install a file called (I believe) Portugal.gif. When I connected again I received a Windows error message saying there was a problem with the TomTom 'drive' which I allowed it to correct, and it mentioned the Portugal.gif file, which it said it had truncated.
A further new connection then advised me that I had no new updates available, but I am not convinced that the latest one actually completed correctly.
The device seems to come on OK still, back here in England, but is there any way I can check that all is well, and that I do actually have the full update correctly installed for all European countries.?
Sorry if I have used a few incorrect terms here, but I hope you can all understand what I am getting at!
