Hi i have just upgraded an old tomtom 910 with a new navcore v8.083 so i can upgrade to a new latest uk map. But when i first done the upgrade everything works just fine. But when i re-booted the 910 all the speech seems to be played in slow motion ? Does anyone know how i can solve this problem please ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

7,903 is the latest Navcore for a 910 AFAIK.
The Navcore you have installed is for one of the XL devices and certainly won't use the LoquendoTTS files correctly which are unique to the 910 device, put 7,903 on the device which will support the latest current map (v845 at time of typing this) - Mike |

I hope you didn't copy the system file over as you will now have the bootloader for a completely different device on there ............ |

Thanks mikealder & AndyVaughan for your replies. I have managed to restore it back to the original files & everything then works just fine. I will try & find a link to download the 7,903 like you say mikealder thanks.

TTHome should automatically (incrementally) update your navcore to this. |

HOLD OFF FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS - New maps are overdue for release, so don't pay tomorrow's price for yesterday's map. _________________ Dennis
