Menu system for Navigo V3

I tried to install the menu system for my new Navigo V3 by following the installation instructions posted here before (menu system by Daniel Schumann,modified to work on Navigo V2 by bad bob (gpsmodding.com). Modified further and simplified by Cryptix (thepctailor.com)...)
Although I could get TT7 to work, I could not get the main menu. device always start with the default menu (6 icons showing Navigation, Music, Photo, eBook, video and System)
Can any one please help? I want to try something other than TT as it takes too long to get a fix to the satellite, and losses it too easily during the journey!

Have you posted this in the wrong section of the forum?
Navigo isn't the same as Navigon so not sure you will be able to get a answer from people in this section of the forum
