Copy the Western_Europe map folder from the device to the PC using Windows Explorer then copy it from the PC to the memory card.
Don't try copying it straight from the Flash memory to the memory card with the card fitted in the device though, the last time I tried this it messed up my data! - Mike |

Backup your device, using Windows Explorer.
Then use Windows Explorer to copy (or cut) and paste it to the card, then delete it from the 740. You copy/paste the entire folder called something like Western_and_Central_Europe.
(Next time you think of it, 2GB isn't worth bothering with - get minimum 4GB and you could get an 8GB Class 6 SDHC card quite cheaply to be free of all memory worries). _________________ Dennis

If you think that's surprisingly easy, you can do worse than read some more of Mike's wisdom in the TomTom FAQs. _________________ Dennis
