Good morning,

I am looking for a website or online service that enables people to upload GPS tracks onto an online community.

The purpose is for a challenge for a sports route the idea is:

- someone sets down the target time over a course
- anyone with a GPS can attempt to beat the time
- the challenge and anyone else's track times can be viewed online

Does something exist?

Thanks

Nick

I've dabbled in www.mapmyride.com since my VidaOne.com products sync with it, which is very convenient (but I haven't drawn any big conclusions since I've just started).

Take a look, let us know which you like best.

Just throwing this one in the pot, but I use Nokia Sportstracker all the time. It's for using in conjunction with a smartphone and works excellently. I used it last week when travelling to Scotland by plane...Quite funny seeing my average speed being over 500mph Shocked Can be used in an offline mode or a live update and has plenty of features - but of course, you do need a smartphone with the (free) software installed.

I am a marathoner, i am using SpeedTracker on my Smartphone, for training and during marathon, it's really reliable. During last Brussels marathon, this little software send my real time performance and position thru the air, so my familly follow me in real time, and help me eating the 42 km distance.
You can try it for free
