Are the mp3 files in a folder called 'mp3' without the quotes on the SD Card?

Don't know if this will help or not but have you tried connecting to home with the card in your unit to see if home recognizes your card?

I believe you need to get home to recognizes your card before you can use a card reader and this might also be the case here.

Re-format, did you use FAT or FAT32 in the original format?

Just a thought but what app are youe using in your unit? Some of the older apps should recognize a 4 GB card but the newer apps will recognize the larger cards for sure. One other thing could be the quality of the card I would recomend at least a class (4)
