Hi,
Newbie alert!!
Had HP2210 a week and just d.loaded checkPOInt v2. and pocketgps_uk_sc.ov2 to go with TT3. Everything seemed to install ok, having followed your instructions to the letter. 2 slight problems:
1/ cannot get checkPOInt to run first - when I hit the icon it just gives me a settings menu (but I think it works when I run TT).
2/ when I am in the POI tab in TT3 settings, there is no pocketgps_uk_sc.ov2 on offer to click so I can view the speed cam icon on my maps.
Sorry if I have trodden a worn path. Looked but couldn't find similar gripe.
Any ideas,

Kybo,
1) This is correct, you will need to switch on the alerts for the speed camera database via "Overlay Settings on that menu screen.
2) You need to check where you have stored your Safety Camera POIs....these are usually on the storage card within the "....Navigator Map" folder. There should be two files.

Steve,
A mate of mine had a look at the PDA the other day, not to cure my problem, but because he liked the look of it and fiddled with it for ages. After he'd passed it me back I tried to use it as I had before. When TT3 starts - CheckPOInt doesn't (I have to clcick on C.POInt in programs as instructed by the instructions) - this now loads TT. I checked the POI tab and, low and behold, pocket_gps_sc is there for me to tick.
No doubt your comments would have sorted me out, so thanks.
Kybo

When CheckPOInt starts, it can also be set to launch TT as well, but the reverse is not true - when TT starts, there is no way of auto starting CheckPOInt.
Equally, CheckPOInt can be set to shutdown when TT does, but again the reverse is not true.
