My 970T recently failed and was fixed by VM (very promptly), but now I have an old speed camera file and am unable to update via the Content Manager (it has update, but nothing happens).

Any idea how to fix this?

Can't answer your question myself now (sold mine a long time ago Sad ), but as no-one else has either, I can only point you to the VM threads to see if there is anything there. A problem was mentioned in "speed cameras again" for instance, and I have a very vague memory (imagination?) of something like the problem you have being mentioned somewhere.

If you could explain "it has update, but nothing happens" in a bit more detail, it may help someone to come up with an idea. Also don't forget to go back to VM to try and get some help.

Good Luck Anyway!

Thanks for the reply.

On the Content Manager It says the cameras are from August, with the update link on the right hand side, but when I click it and the synchronise button nothing happens

Hazarding a guess - is your security software blocking the action?

As VM shut their navigation department well over a year ago are they still providing speed camera data?! i thought they were only keeping a handful in for support etc?

Have you tried the PGPSW database that is compatible with the VM units?

Cheers again.

I have ried to download them on another machine, got the synchronising message, but they are still August 2007.

The reason I think I have out of date ones is that there have been average speed cameras in the A1 at Wetherby for years and before the repair it warned me, but now it doesn't.

I wonder if page 8, etc of "ViaMichelin Support and Feedback" might be something to do with your problem. It's worth looking through the threads to see if there are any other clues.

And don't forget to ask VM support if you really are stuck.

Hi, just a thought:

Clicking 'Update' does not update the cameras on it's own. You have to click update against each country, the word will then change to 'Add', go back and click all the 'Adds', the word will change to 'Remove', then hit the synchronise button.

If I've misunderstood the problem let me know and I'll help further if I can.
