Is it too early to tell what changes, if any, are noticable in the release, Andy? _________________ David |

The only one I know of is that the Emulator doesn't crash Home after being left idle for 10 minutes or so. |

I've had it for some time too, but I read that the general public release was only today.
It might only have been available to those who had signed up for the "Public Beta" program. This is now a general release. |

After installing this new version I am having problems starting up my TomTom. Have to do a several soft resets and suddenly it is alive again. But now I am afraid to connect to Home. I have a manual backup on my computer but I don't know how to restore. I want to go back to earlier version. Is there any help? Thank you. _________________ GO 720(4M00.002) v8.350

I'm not sure from your post whether you want to restore an earlier version of HOME, or an earlier version of the software on the TomTom itself.
If it's the TomTom itself, and you made the backup by copy and pasting EVERYTHING from the TomTom to your Pc, then you restore the backup by just repeating the process in reverse. Copy everything from wherever you saved it on your PC and paste it onto the storage memory or SD card of your TomTom.
If it is an earlier version of Home you want, say which version and I'll find a download link for you. |

Thank you Andy. Actually I am not sure what caused the problem because update to TomTom Home and 8.350 firmware update happened at the same time.
While doing the manual restore does that mean I erase clean the whole content of TomTom first and then copy paste the backup content? _________________ GO 720(4M00.002) v8.350

Usually....
But you can also just replace all the files which aren't in a folder. |
