Everything working fine with MM on my Axim except that I cant get it to save a track that is produced on the PDA.
The track shows OK as a red line but as soon as the unit is turned off the track is lost.
Tracks which I have uploaded from the PC are fine.
Any ideas anyone please?
Thanks

Are you EXITing MM before turning off (just clicking X for close won't work)? Have you tried 'Overlay/Backup' before exiting or switching off? |

After switching your PDA back on and running MM, if you then select 'Menu' then 'Overlay' then 'Show All' then 'Track', does this not cause the tracks to re-display? It does for me regardless of only ever stopping program via top right 'X' then stopping all running programs via WM before switching off. |

Thanks for the replies.
All sorted now due to very quick response from MM.
Have to exit using Menu,Exit.
I was just closing the program with the top right cross. |

Not a reply, but on my PDA, I cannot get the red track showing where I have been to work. Tried everything that I can think off, but to no avail.
Memory Map is V5, PDA is ipaq rx5935.
Memory Map GPS settings are:-
Manufacturer - Navman
Model - 3000 Series (ipaq select)
Port - COM7
Baud - grayed out
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks |

Try NMEA, COM7, 9600 baud in MM
In the IPAQ GPS settings set program port to COM7, hardware port to COM1, baud 9600, manage automatically.
This is the setup on my IPAQ 5720 |

May sound a bit obivous, but if you go to MM, GPS, SETUP there is a little box marked 'debug'. Try ticking this box.
I had the same problem with my pda and ticking this box brought back the little red line,
