I've used Norton products for (many) years, they've had their quirks but have always served their purpose, and the customer service, although sometimes long winded and 'foreign' has normally sorted me out. The latest products are far less memory / resource hungry.

I assume you don't approve of Norton then?
Now now tommo, you won't make it to detective at this rate.
You're either a thick copper OR you run Norton Security. Can't be both
I always used to use Norton but there are a number of free programmes on CNet or ZDNet, which when added together are just as good, in my opinion, as Norton. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Agree with Spikey. Norton is gradually recovering form the mess made by Symantec who took over some years back.
I am force fed the full suite at work which performs well, although the network itself is pretty much bomb proof and so little gets as far as Norton. The biggest threats are nasties introduced from disk and stick.
Norton is the last line at the individual terminals and works well with no noticeable intrusions.
Having said that, I could freebie this on my laptop under group policy but I decline.

I see you have changed your glasses. The dark ones you (your avatar) had previously made you look cool. I've obviously been off for some time. I have noticed quite alot of updated avatars. _________________ Tommo...

Tommo, don't forget to blow your tyres up hard before you visit Colorado. You might be safe from viruses(unless you go to hospital) but I am lead to believe that drowning is not too pleasant.
