But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hello,
I have a unit that was no longer functioning in California, US Maps. When I accessed the data card, I found that there was some software corruption. I copied everything I could, reformatted the card and copied it all back . . but I lost the corrupt map, which is the one I need of course.
Not getting any love so far, but if someone can either direct me on how/where to get the needed directory / map or even replacement GPS SW that will give me California.
Unit: RAC SatNav200
SW: Route66 Navigate 7
Corrupted Dir: Pacific ( CA OR WA )
Funds are an issue, so free/no cost solutions would be most helpful.

Welcome to the forum, all I can suggest is you contact Route 66 and see if there is anything they can offer, but this usually means purchasing a replacement map.
With all sat nav devices that use internal memory or that use Memory Cards it is vital to perform a full back up of the devices contents to the PC BEFORE one starts to use the device, this way you can always recover the device to that "out of the box" condition - Mike
